Canon PSC 1000 Deluxe Grey Leather Case for the Canon SD1000 SD1100IS SD770IS nad SD1200IS Digital Cameras

This specially designed grey leather case stylishly protects your Canon PowerShot SD1000 digital camera while on the go, letting you take it pretty much everywhere. The case is perfect for traveling, or for everyday use of your camera, protecting it from dings and dust when you carry your camera in a pocket or purse. The grey case measures 2.5 by 4 by 1 inches (W x H x D) and weighs 0.5 pounds.

User Ratings and Reviews

4 Stars Perfect fit for the SD1200IS
The Powershot SD1200 fits very snuggly (I wouldn’t then recommend this case for the SD1100, which is slightly bigger). The hard sides and interior lining seem perfect for protecting the camera and the magnetic closure works just fine. The cord passes easily in and out of the hole in the upper part of the case. My only complaint is that it really adds a lot of bulk to the otherwise inconspicuous camera, but I guess the protection is worth it. Also, keep in mind that it is not real leather, although the synthetic material does not look bad.

4 Stars Good fit for CanonSD1200 IS
Other reviewers have commented that the PSC-1000 case is a bit bulky, but I believe the padding is needed to protect the camera. The case easily slides into a tee shirt or pants pocket. The magnetic clasp holds securely and the camera does not rattle around in the case. Rather than using the slit for the wrist strap, I simplify coil the strap on top and the case closes completely around the camera. I prefer this method to having the case dangle from the strap of an ultra-compact camera. The case does not provide space to carry an extra battery or SD card but with a 2G plus SD card and a fully charged NB6L battery I find I can take hundreds of pictures (300) so that is not a problem for me.

5 Stars Great for SD1200IS
I just received this case and it fits the SD1200IS perfectly, and doesn’t look too bad either.

5 Stars perfect case
I like this camera case. It protects well and my camera fits easily. The strap hole is a little difficult to fit, but is easy to keep the camera safely in the case without threaded through.

2 Stars Worthless; I threw it away
When I bought my new camera I bought this case with it, thinking I might find nothing better. When I received it I saw that it does not fully enclose the camera, allowing rain and snow in. Furthermore, the magnetic closure is not realiable. This case is worthless. I felt it was too inexpensive to return so I threw it away. I found a much better case at Wal-Mart.

Fujifilm FinePix J28 10 2MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Zoom

Fujifilm FinePix J28 – 10MP, 3x Optical Zoom, Face Detection with Red Eye Removal, SR Auto, Panorama, Li-Ion Battery

User Ratings and Reviews

4 Stars Family snapshot deal
This Fujifilm camera replaced my five year old 2 MP model that had survived kid fingerprints and less that ideal care. I was looking for a camera with more MP, a larger screen, smaller size and that did not use AA batteries. At the affordable price this fits the bill.

Positives:

SD card makes it easy to transfer to computer

Battery life is good and charges by plug-in.

Menus are easy to navigate

Pictures come out beautiful

Face recognition works well

Could Improve:

Its small size and slick plastic make it hard to hold on to

Black shiny color attracts a lot of dust

Buttons are also very small (even for a woman with average size hands)

I guess you have to give up some ease of use with the small size. I’m always accidentally hitting a button when attempting to play back the pictures or work with the menu. Once you are in picture taking mode there are grips to hold on to the camera. I would recommend this for taking family snapshots and hauling around on vacation.

5 Stars Great Camera
Love the picture quality!! Small and lightweight. Lots of automatic shutter/flash settings so no matter how much or little you know about photography, you’ll always get great shots. Perfect for everyday use. I HIGHLY recommend this Camera.

5 Stars Excellent Picture
I have many different brands of digital cameras over the years – Canon,Sony, Panasonic..I found this camera the best value for money -

1) Crisp Pictures!

2) Decent battery life

3) Slim and comparable to Sony W220 for lesser price

4) Superb low light pictures(No reddish, grainy pics)

5) Nice Macro Pictures

I bought this for $69 bucks include case + 2GB card!

What a great deal!!

4 Stars Nice Design
I like camera and charger design. i had 3mp canon camera was suck. canon camera is too small and heavy. it’s only last one year. the screen starts fuzzy then broken. when u charge the battery, u have to take out battery from camera. don’t buy canon, wrong choice.

5 Stars Good Camera
I got this camera several days ago while it was on BF Sale. For the most part I am very pleased. The camera takes very good pictures and has great battery life. The anti-shake or Picture Stabilization mode works well. As some others have stated, you will have to manually select the Picture Stabilization mode if you want it enabled. This camera is small and as others have stated a fingerprint magnet because of the glossy black finish. The fingerprint issue doesn’t bother me. The only five negatives that I have are:

1: The camera housing is a little too much plastic (most cameras are at this price point).

2: The camera close up shots are hard to focus, so forget about any real close up shots within a foot or less.

3: Indoor shots that I took mostly have to use a flash under low lighting (pictures came out looking excellent with the flash).

4: You have to manually select the Picture Stabilization mode if you want it enabled.

5: Plastic battery cover is somewhat flimsy (be careful when opening). Open by pressing down firmly on the cover and then gently sliding cover out away from camera. Too much force will probably break the cover.

Aside from the negatives this is still a very nice camera. Overall pictures come out looking excellent. I own Canon and Kodak cameras and I would rate the FinePix J28 as good as anything in its price range compared to those brands. Another thing to mention is that the image stabilization is digital controled on the FinePix J28, not optical. Optical stabilization is considered to be better than digital. I will say that with this camera, the digital image stabilization works great. I deliberately shot some pictures with excessive movement, and all of the pictures came out 100% perfect.

Positive Points Are:

1: Excellent Battery Life (rechargeable lithium ion).

2: Small Battery charger.

3: Excellent pictures (outdoor and indoor).

4: Excellent digital image stabilization.

5: Very nice small camera size.

6: Movie mode works very good along with the audio.

7: LCD is sharp and vivid.

8: Menus are intuitive or easy to understand.

9: Shutter lag between shots (with or without flash) is good.

10: Good price vs quality + features.
